Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations are crucial in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores, providing our customers with top-quality items. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from stock handling to maintaining warehouse standards. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week, with a starting wage of $23.75 per hour.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
- Provide input for process improvement and assist in achieving warehouse goals.
- Inspect products for quality and safety compliance.
- Operate equipment safely following guidelines.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
- Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
- Perform various physical tasks in different temperature environments.
- Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
