Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Worker to join our team at Aldi. This part-time position offers a starting wage of $23.75 per hour with less than 30 hours per week on average. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting, receiving, and relocating merchandise, maintaining warehouse cleanliness and inventory, and collaborating with the team to enhance operational processes.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock accurately.
- Relocate merchandise following guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
- Provide input for process improvements.
- Inspect product quality and report issues.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Demonstrate conscientious behavior, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and basic arithmetic skills.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds, operate powered industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
