Job Description
As a Customer Service and Stock Specialist at ALDI, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the store. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills expected for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Assist customers with their shopping needs and provide exceptional service.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and provide feedback on products and issues.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies while upholding document security and confidentiality.
- Perform physical tasks including stocking, lifting, and general store maintenance.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales if required.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in a retail environment is advantageous.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
