Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your exceptional customer service skills will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat displays.
- Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate well with the management team.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and uphold document security.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Excellent customer service and cash handling skills.
- Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning tasks.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of working independently and in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
