Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your primary responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store’s cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and uphold cash policies
- Adhere to company policies and maintain document security
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
- Adherence to company cleaning standards and policies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Combination of education and experience equivalent
