Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a pivotal role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to uphold our high standards of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays with precision.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in inventory management.
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures for loss prevention.
- Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently and accurately operate a cash register.
- Safely handle equipment and perform general cleaning duties.
- Interpret and apply company policies and procedures effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Work well both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multi-task effectively.
- Meet state and local requirements for the sale of alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
