Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers and communicating effectively with the team.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management team.
- Contribute to inventory counts and adherence to cash procedures.
- Adhere to company policies, ensure security, and confidentiality of data.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness according to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience is considered.
