Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and provides exceptional customer service. From cashiering to stocking shelves, you will contribute to creating a positive shopping experience for our customers by collaborating with the ALDI team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Offer feedback on products, manage inventory, and adhere to cash policies
- Follow company policies, uphold security measures, and perform assigned duties
Qualifications
- Age 18 or older
- Ability to provide courteous service and operate a cash register efficiently
- Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and follow instructions
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
