Job Description

Join the ALDI team as a Store Team Member and play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers. As a full-time Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure a top-notch shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers throughout their visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in stock levels.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and uphold company procedures.
• Follow all company policies to maintain document security and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient in delivering prompt and courteous customer service.
• Skilled in operating a cash register accurately.
• Ability to use store equipment safely and efficiently.
• Capable of maintaining cleanliness and adhering to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
