1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are hiring a 1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate at Aldi. This position offers an average of 30-35 hours per week with starting wages ranging from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. The work schedule for this position falls under Schedule B, which involves working both Saturday and Sunday 2 out of every 3 weeks. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in various warehouse operations, including selecting and receiving incoming stock efficiently, relocating merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and contributing to inventory counts.

Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload merchandise strategically for shipments.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products and address quality, safety, and sanitation concerns.
• Act independently within the delegated responsibilities.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Operate equipment effectively.

Job Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise and prepare product for store deliveries.
• Engage in various physical activities throughout the warehouse.
• Work in different temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
