Job Description

We are looking for an Associate Medical Director in Medical Affairs, focusing on Oncology, to join Jazz Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to transforming patients' lives through innovative medicines. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and maintaining scientific programs for HER2+ target therapy in Gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma (GEA) and Biliary tract cancers (BTCs), collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing medical support for various business initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support US Medical Affairs activities related to HER2+ target therapy in GEA and BTCs.
  • Develop scientific and educational programs in alignment with medical strategies.
  • Collaborate with commercial partners for market access and promotional activities.
  • Provide medical expertise in reviewing and approving responses to medical inquiries.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree with 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.
  • Strong clinical background in Oncology.
  • Expertise in analyzing clinical trial data and working with marketed products.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Education and Licenses

  • Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD).

Travel

  • 20-30% domestic travel required.
