Job Description
We are looking for Part-Time Warehouse Package Handlers to join our team at ALDI. As a warehouse package handler, you will play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores to ensure our customers receive high-quality goods. Our employees work fewer than 30 hours per week in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, supported by comprehensive training and safety programs.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise in preparation for shipment.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness.
- Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and management.
- Provide input to improve warehouse processes and achieve goals.
- Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
- Perform tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policies.
- Follow safety guidelines and report any issues to management.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, and work independently or in a team.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Move merchandise, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, and walk.
- Work in varying temperatures and operate industrial equipment.
