1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently seeking Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers to join our team at Aldi. You will play a crucial role in efficiently handling stock, organizing merchandise, and preparing shipments for delivery. The position offers competitive wages and benefits, including a starting wage of up to $22.00 per hour based on the shift.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise as per warehouse guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Contribute to process improvement suggestions to warehouse management.
• Assist in achieving budget goals and following company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving up to 45 pounds, operating industrial equipment, and working in varying temperatures.
