Job Description

Join our team at Aldi as a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler! Our warehouse operations ensure products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores for our growing customer base. This part-time position offers an average of less than 30 hours per week, starting at a competitive wage of $23.75 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement and budget goals.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines and report any issues.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to work at Aldi.
• Demonstrate quality concern, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, organization, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, follow instructions, and work independently or within a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, and operate industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
