1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at ALDI. Our warehouse plays a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores to meet the needs of our customers. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week, with a starting wage of $23.75 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock with efficiency to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following guidelines for product handling.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and contribute to process improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to work at ALDI.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team setting.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move items up to 45 pounds and operate equipment safely.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and using powered industrial equipment.
