1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently hiring for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler position at Aldi. This is a full-time role with an average of 30-35 hours per week. The starting wage ranges from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour, based on shift and schedule differentials. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for various duties including selecting and receiving incoming stock, relocating merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality and safety.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 45 pounds, work in varying temperatures, and operate industrial equipment.
