Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $20.75 - $26.75 per hour. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a vital role in receiving, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment preparation.
• Perform cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Inspect product quality and provide input for process improvement.
• Operate equipment safely and follow warehouse procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
