1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in the warehouse operations, ensuring efficient handling and preparation of merchandise for store deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Receive and select incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Organize and relocate merchandise based on handling guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise for shipment effectively.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and safety standards.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
• Perform tasks efficiently and within company policies.
• Collaborate with peers and supervisors in a positive and resilient manner.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Excellent communication skills.
