1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join ALDI and become a crucial member of our team. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating effectively with the warehouse team and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general warehouse cleaning tasks.
• Participate in inventory counts.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and management.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and safety.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Stand, bend, reach, and perform various physical tasks.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
