1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This full-time role offers an average of 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $18.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on shift differentials. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in efficiently fulfilling orders, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse standards.

Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to warehouse guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect products for quality and safety.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positivity, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Work in various warehouse conditions (temperatures, environments).
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
