1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our warehouse team as 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and preparing shipments for delivery to our stores.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse as per guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise, maintaining warehouse cleanliness.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with the team.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and safety, following established procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and according to guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to change.
• Strong work ethic and dedication to quality and safety standards.
• Basic arithmetic and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, and walk throughout the warehouse.
