1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi on a full-time basis. The role involves efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, loading shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards. You will work collaboratively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to optimize processes and achieve operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate and organize merchandise according to guidelines.
• Load and unload shipment trucks strategically.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness.
• Communicate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and safety, and report issues.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and handle products up to 45 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.
