1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently hiring for the position of 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler at Aldi. This is a full-time role with an average of 30-35 hours per week, offering a starting wage of up to $22.75 per hour. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards, and collaborating effectively with colleagues and management.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise efficiently.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain communication with team members and leadership.
• Provide feedback for process improvement and assist in achieving organizational goals.
• Follow safety guidelines, report product quality and safety concerns, and perform tasks within company policies.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Adherence to ALDI Acts competencies including quality, safety, collaboration, positive attitude, and organizational efficiency.
• Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, and work independently or as part of a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
