1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $20.75 - $26.75 per hour, depending on shift and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Strategically sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Keep the warehouse clean and maintain safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and achieve goals.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate equipment safely and report issues to management.
• Perform other assigned tasks and follow company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement of 18.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, and work both independently and in a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights.
• Move merchandise, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
