1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks such as selecting and receiving incoming stock, relocating merchandise, sorting, organizing, and loading products for shipment, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Ability to work collaboratively and follow instructions.
• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
