Job Description - 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As part of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for selecting and organizing stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work efficiently both independently and in a team, and committed to upholding quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise based on product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality and safety.
• Act independently within defined responsibilities.
• Assist in achieving warehouse goals.
• Operate equipment safely and according to guidelines.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
