1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the ALDI team. As a part-time member of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. This position offers an hourly starting wage of $23.75 and involves tasks such as stocking, organizing, and loading merchandise, along with general cleaning duties and inventory management.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving budget goals.

Job Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older and demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency. Basic arithmetic skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or within a team are essential.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise throughout the warehouse, and operate powered industrial equipment. Must work in varying temperatures and environments.
