1st Shift Warehouse Stocker at Aldi
We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week, with a starting wage of $23.75 per hour. Our warehouse team plays a vital role in ensuring efficient stock management, product quality, and safety standards to meet the needs of our customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
- Perform general cleaning to maintain warehouse standards and safety requirements.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts and collaborate effectively with peers and leadership.
- Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving budgeted goals.
- Inspect product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
- Operate equipment safely and report any issues to management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older.
- Acts conscientiously, collaborates with the team, demonstrates a positive attitude, drives for success, and organizes with efficiency.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
- Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
