1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join the Aldi team in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores. This part-time role offers a starting wage of $23.75 per hour for fewer than 30 hours per week. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse tasks, such as stock selection, product relocation, loading and unloading merchandise, inventory counts, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. You will collaborate with your peers and warehouse leadership, contributing solutions for process improvement. Successful applicants must be 18 years or older and exhibit competencies in quality, teamwork, positivity, success-driven attitude, and efficiency. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Select and receive stock efficiently for store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically.
• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Collaborate effectively and provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Assist warehouse management in reaching budget goals.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.

• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Detail-oriented with the capability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Lift products up to 45 pounds, frequently.
• Move merchandise and prepare for delivery.
• Perform a variety of physical tasks including bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Work in varying temperatures, including outdoor and refrigerated environments.
