1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by efficiently handling incoming and outgoing stock, organizing merchandise, maintaining warehouse standards, and collaborating effectively with team members and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Keep the warehouse clean and meet safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Work independently within delegated responsibilities.
• Assist in achieving warehouse goals and follow company procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any issues.
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate conscientious behavior, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency in work performance.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Possess good communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate industrial equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and walk.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered equipment.
