1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a competitive starting wage ranging from $20.75 to $26.75 per hour, depending on the shift and schedule. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will be responsible for efficiently managing stock, organizing merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide feedback for process improvements.
• Inspect product quality and address safety and sanitation concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientious behavior, collaborates with the team, maintains a positive attitude, drives for success, and organizes work efficiently.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, perform basic arithmetic, pay attention to detail, and work independently or in a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk in various warehouse conditions.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
