1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our dynamic team at Aldi. As part of our warehouse operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores. Our warehouse employees work an average of fewer than 30 hours per week in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas. You will receive thorough training and participate in a safety program to equip you with the necessary skills for success.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders from stores.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Assist in achieving budget goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness and team collaboration.
• Possess a positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Organize and execute tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate powered equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
