1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our growing warehouse operations at Aldi. Our warehouse employees play a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week with a starting wage of $23.75 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Strategically sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and support budget goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to challenges and drive for success.
• Organizational skills and efficiency in executing tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Maintain physical stamina and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varied temperatures and environments.
