Job Description
We are seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our dedicated team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations ensure the efficient movement of products to our stores, serving our increasing customer base. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week at a starting wage of $25.75 per hour. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for selecting and receiving stock, organizing merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating with warehouse leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Select and receive stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
- Organize and relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Load and unload shipments strategically for delivery.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and provide input for process improvements.
- Cooperate effectively with peers and warehouse management.
- Act independently within delegated responsibilities.
- Assist in achieving budgeted goals and following company policies.
- Operate equipment safely and report quality or safety concerns.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, perform basic math, and work within a team environment.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Move merchandise, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, and carry throughout the warehouse.
- Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
