2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are hiring a 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations play a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently handled and delivered to our stores for our customers. This part-time position typically requires fewer than 30 hours per week and offers a competitive starting wage of $25.75 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment preparation.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain warehouse cleanliness.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving budgeted goals.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, and efficiency.
• Execute tasks accurately and efficiently within company policies.
• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to follow instructions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
