2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member to join Aldi's team. As a warehouse team member, you will play a key role in receiving, relocating, sorting, loading merchandise, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety. This position requires someone who can work efficiently both independently and within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Prepare merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and notify management of any concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and report any safety or sanitation issues.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and handle products up to 45 pounds.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and operate industrial equipment.
