2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our expanding team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a vital part in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores, ensuring our customers receive the best quality products efficiently. As a part-time position with fewer than 30 hours per week, you will work in ambient and temperature-controlled areas, contributing to a well-organized and safe warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Organize and relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Prepare merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Offer suggestions for process improvements to warehouse management.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Independently make decisions within the delegated responsibility area.
• Help achieve budgeted goals and adhere to company policies.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 to work at Aldi.
• Demonstrated ability to work conscientiously, collaborate with a team, show a positive attitude, drive for success, and organize tasks efficiently.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and operate equipment in a warehouse setting.
