2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a competitive starting wage ranging from $22.75 to $28.75 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. As part of the 2nd shift team starting at 3:00 PM, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling incoming and outgoing stock, maintaining warehouse appearance standards, and collaborating with peers and warehouse leadership.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Clean warehouse to meet appearance standards and safety requirements.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members.
• Provide input for process improvement to warehouse management.
• Inspect products and report on quality, safety, and sanitation concerns.
• Work independently within the delegated area of responsibility and assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Perform tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policies.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
• Report any product quality, safety, or sanitation issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Act conscientiously, collaborate with the team, demonstrate a positive attitude and resilience, drive for success, and organize efficiently.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment safely.
