2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our dynamic team at Aldi. As a warehouse team member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are properly received, selected, and delivered to our stores. Our warehouse operates in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, and we provide comprehensive training and a safety program to equip our team members with the skills needed for success.

Starting Wage

• $25.75 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect products for quality and safety.
• Act independently within delegated responsibilities.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Follow safety guidelines and report issues.
• Perform assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Operate equipment safely and effectively.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and safely operate equipment.
