Job Description

ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our team in Denver, CO. As a Supervisor, Operations I, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely, damage-free, and safe loading/unloading of freight on assigned shifts.

General Description of Duties

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for efficient freight handling.
• Maintain load plans and ensure safe vehicle operation.
• Assign tasks, provide training, monitor performance, and ensure a safe working environment.
• Promote safe handling and storage of hazardous materials.
• Work collaboratively to achieve department goals.
• Support our values-driven culture focused on creativity, integrity, collaboration, growth, excellence, and wellness.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in Service Center or transportation field preferred.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• General knowledge of freight operations and handling techniques.
