Job Title: Operations Supervisor

We are looking for a dedicated Operations Supervisor to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing the loading/unloading of freight, maintaining load plans, coordinating work assignments, and ensuring a safe working environment for our personnel and customers. General Duties:

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for timely and safe loading/unloading of freight.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks, monitor performance, and provide training and feedback.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment, especially in handling hazardous materials.
• Work collaboratively in a team setting to achieve department goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous service center or transportation experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
