Job Description

ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our expanding team in Denver, CO. As a Supervisor, Operations I, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling available resources to ensure the timely, damage-free, and safe loading/unloading of freight on assigned shifts.

General Duties

• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks, coordinate work assignments, and monitor performances.
• Provide training, feedback, and disciplinary recommendations when necessary.
• Create a clean, safe working environment and promote safe handling of materials.
• Support a values-driven culture focused on teamwork and achieving department goals.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior experience in Service Center, transportation, or related fields is advantageous.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of freight handling techniques and regulations.
