Job Description

ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, is seeking a dedicated Operations Supervisor to join our team in Denver, CO. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling resources to ensure the timely, safe, and damage-free loading and unloading of freight during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for loading/unloading freight safely.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks and monitor performance.
• Provide training, feedback, and disciplinary recommendations.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment.
• Promote safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Work collaboratively in a team setting to achieve department goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in transportation or related field.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of freight handling techniques.
