Job Description

We are currently looking for an ambitious Account Manager to join our team at Hirose Electric USA. In this role, you will be reporting to the Regional Sales Manager and will be responsible for managing sales activities in a specified business segment to enhance sales and execute strategic corporate objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and foster relationships with targeted accounts.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for selected accounts.
  • Create and deliver customized product presentations, including 2D and 3D modeling where applicable.
  • Lead sales initiatives on key opportunities to achieve successful design wins.
  • Provide customer support throughout the product build-out process, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor product production and anticipate future customer needs and growth opportunities.
  • Achieve sales targets within the assigned territory, adhering to company sales policies and pricing guidelines.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to optimize revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage accounts to position Hirose as a key supplier for current and future opportunities.
  • Drive sales pipeline growth and conversion of projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the electronic component industry.
  • Strong technical acumen to understand and address customer requirements effectively.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
