Admission/Discharge Nurse

Job Description

At Great Falls Clinic Hospital, we are currently looking for a dedicated Admission/Discharge Nurse to join our team. As a nurse in our facility, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our patients before and after surgical procedures, and you will be responsible for medication reconciliation, admission health history, and medication education for new admissions and discharges. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes while maintaining professional nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process.
• Complete medication reconciliation, admission health history, and medication education for new admissions and discharges.
• Review admissions/discharges for completion and continuity.
• Support Med/Surg floor activities as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Nursing Program with a valid MT RN licensure.
• Certifications in ACLS, PALS, and BLS to be completed within 6 months of hire.
• Experience in medical/surgical nursing and IV skills.
• Basic office skills.
