Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist in managing day-to-day store activities, developing operational plans, and ensuring overall store performance. You will have the opportunity to identify training opportunities to help grow and develop the team, contributing to a positive work environment.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 38 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $25.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing action plans for improved operating results
• Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for team members
• Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance
• Monitor the competitive environment and suggest adjustments
• Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed
• Supervise day-to-day team operations and escalate issues when necessary
• Uphold company policies and procedures

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Prior retail management experience preferred
