Assistant Retail Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join the team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, developing operational plans, and identifying training opportunities to support team growth.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 38 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $24.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing action plans for improved operational results.
• Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for team members.
• Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
• Monitor the competitive environment and recommend strategic adjustments.
• Participate in the hiring process and provide product feedback.
• Ensure store cleanliness, proper stock levels, and high-quality merchandise presentation.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and maintain customer service standards.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Prior retail management experience preferred.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
• Prior management experience is a plus.
