Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in supervising day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, implementing action plans for operational improvement, and fostering a team-oriented work environment. Your responsibilities will include providing prompt and courteous customer service, ensuring product quality and freshness, maintaining stock levels, and upholding company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the direct leader in developing action plans to enhance store performance.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities for staff development.
  • Ensure adherence to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and proper signage standards.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations, escalating issues when necessary.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Prior retail experience and management skills preferred.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
  • Prior management experience is a plus.
