Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day store activities, improving operating results, and ensuring the overall store performance. You will also lead a team, provide training opportunities, and maintain a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance operating results.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
  • Ensure adherence to company strategy and core values.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback.
  • Participate in the store personnel interviewing process.
  • Maintain inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Prior experience in a retail environment, with management experience preferred.
