Assistant Retail Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Retail Supervisor at Aldi. In this role, you will assist with supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans. You will work closely with the direct leader to improve operating results, provide training opportunities, and maintain a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans to improve store operations.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
• Identify training opportunities to enhance performance and growth.
• Monitor the competitive environment and recommend adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
• Participate in the interviewing process for store personnel.
• Ensure inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies are followed.
• Maintain store cleanliness standards and stock levels.
• Maximize sales through effective product merchandising.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.
• Provide exceptional customer service and uphold company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Previous retail experience and management skills preferred.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of retail experience.
• Management experience is a plus.
